All hands on deck for an island-hopping adventure!
The first brand new Mario and Luigi game in the RPG series in 9 years brings the beloved brothers closer together than ever. The joyful world of Concordia is not what it once was. Those who once lived in harmony under the mighty Uni-Tree now stand separated, as the land between their feet has fractured into many different islands. It's not just a mystery to the residents of Concordia but also to brothers Mario and Luigi, who have suddenly arrived from the Mushroom Kingdom to help local resident Connie save the day – even if they don't quite know it yet.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership is the first original entry in the RPG series in nine years. This adventure brings the beloved brothers closer than ever, as they try to bring the islands back together, figure out what happened, and find their way home.
To do that, the pair must overcome all the platforming and puzzle-solving the beloved action RPG series is known for, with a couple of fresh twists helping them do just that.
This time, Mario and Luigi must team up in both exploration and combat. Timing their Bros. Attacks will see the brothers bop baddies in unison with ease, while new Bros. Moves (including teaming up to turn into a UFO!) help the duo clear obstacles to explore Concordia's many islands.
Battles are more dynamic than ever, with the brothers having to time their dodges, counter-attacks and attacks precisely to get the upper-hand on enemies. What’s more, they can use Battle Plugs to turn the tide in battle even further.
During their journey, Mario and Luigi will come across lush jungles and bustling cities, where they will bump into faces, both old and new. And how do they brothers travel through Concordia? Well, they set sail on Shipshape Island, which comes equipped with a nifty cannon – a perfect way to reach distant islands.
One half of the famed Mario Bros. (as if you didn't know!). Whether it's leaping over obstacles or hammering enemies, he's here to help Connie restore Concordia to its former glory.
Mario
The other half of the famed Mario Bros., he's lean, green, and keen to lend a hand. Watch out for his bursts of inspiration – you never know when a bit of Luigi Logic might be useful.

A young girl who found herself aboard Shipshape Island after Concordia was broken. She's intent on growing a new Uni-Tree to bring everything back together, one island at a time.
Connie
As well as helping Connie on her mission to save Concordia, this flying fellow regularly lends Mario and Luigi a hand . . . er, hoof. But let's be clear – he AIN'T a pig!
